There are very few smartphone users who haven’t suffered the heartbreak of a shattered screen. There are some of us who are so traumatised by the fall that we end up carrying the shattered screen as a testament of the time when time itself came to a stand still. And, you can’t really blame them, for the screen is still one of the costliest parts of a smartphone to fix, often costing a fourth of the phone’s box price. And this is usually half the resale price of the phone. This is where Moto X-Force think it can make an impact.
Moto X Force
Moto X Force comes with a shatterproof display but the sides are prone to cracks
This phone will be remembered as the first to come out with a shatter-proof screen. Yes, you can play hopscotch with the phone if you want and it will come out with a screen as pristine as the first time you threw it on the floor. This phone can take more than its fair share of fall and come out unscathed.

What is good?
Of course, the screen is the best part of this phone. Yes, it is shatter proof and for a lot of people who have ended up cracking their screens faster than they can crack a joke, this phone will offer some serious pull.
It also has a 2K display behind the extra strong glass and it is sharp and crisp enough for you to guard it. Plus, for people who would be using this screen to consume a lot of multimedia, Moto has added front facing speakers that really gets itself heard by being both loud and clear.
Moto X Force will last and the meshed finish on the back gives a sense of reassurance seldom found in smartphones
The Moto X Force is one of the best-looking flagships around. It seems like a phone that will last and the meshed finish on the back gives a sense of reassurance seldom found in smartphones. But the design might appear a bit too manly for some users.

The device is powered by a 64-bit octal-core Snapdragon processor that is able to perform most tasks really well. Yes, we did notice that the phone has a tendency to warm up once in a while, but it does not really heat up. Also, the phone offers one of the smoothest graphics I have seen in a while and that is reinforced by the 80k plus Antutu score.
The camera might seem minimalist, but it can be really mean in low light and produce some surprisingly sharp pictures
The camera might seem minimalist, but it can be really mean in low light and produce some surprisingly sharp pictures. The software is also one of the easiest to use if you like to adjust exposure and focus. It is also really fast and I suggest that the touch to click option must be disabled by those who might be a bit intimidated by the same.
What is not that good?
At the end of the day, the Moto X Force is not much different from the Moto X Style. This means you are paying a hefty premium for the shatter-proof display and better design. Your tendency to destroy phones has to be really strong for you to buy a phone that preempts that, but at a price.

At this price, you might also start questioning the Pure Android experience. While for most users the plain vanilla Android is one of the best things about Moto phones, some value-conscious Indians might look for more value for their Rs 50,000.
Should you buy?

If you are looking for a phone that will take a fall with you and come out with less bruises then look no further. But if you just want a top-end Android, then there are better bets now in the Samsung Galaxy S7 or even the Xiaomi Mi 5. Buy this primarily for a display that won’t crack.
