Amit Mishra

The leg-spinner Amit Mishra has done something that no other player has ever done in the history of IPL - he is the only player to have a hat-trick of hat-tricks in India's lucrative T20 league. His first one came for Delhi Daredevils in IPL 2008 against Deccan Chargers. In 2011, he repeated the achievement for Deccan Chargers against Kings XI Punjab. In 2013, he took his third hat-trick against Pune Warriors India for Sunrisers Hyderabad. The Haryana bowler made a mark in Ranji Trophy and was first called for the national side in 2002 against West Indies in a Test series. But he failed to make it to the playing XI. He was later picked for India in 2007 against South Africa A and impressed with consistent performances. His IPL performances led him to his involvement against Australia in 2008 and he took 5 wickets in the first innings in the first Test. He ended the series with 14 wickets under his name. He last played a Test for India in 2011 against England. In spite of being in and out of the limited-overs side, he impresssed in the ODI series against New Zealand as he recorded figures of 5/18 in the final match. In 36 ODIs, he has taken 64 wickets at an average of 23.62.
