Delhi water crisis to end today

New Delhi, Feb 22 (ANI): With the Army taking control of Munak Canal in Haryana, the water supply in Delhi could be partially restored by late Monday evening. The Munak canal, which carries 543 million gallons of water per day from the Yamuna to the city, was besieged by Jat protesters demanding reservation in government jobs and educational institutions. The Supreme Court would also be hearing Delhi government's petition seeking Centre's intervention for the uninterrupted supply of water.

Seminar on communal harmony organised in Rajouri

Rajouri, Feb 17 (ANI): The Army's Ace of Spade division organised an all religion seminar in Jammu and Kashmir to maintain communal harmony in the state. Army officers, police officers and students took part in the seminar that was held at Raina auditorium in Rajouri. General Officer Commanding (GOC) Major General D.A. Chaturvedi said the main objective of the seminar was to make everyone understand that we can develop through social, religion and economic harmony. Clerics from different religions took part in the seminar and shared their views on communal harmony.

Pathankot, Jan 09 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday visited the Pathankot Air Force base to review the security situation after the terrorist attack, which left seven security personnel dead and 20 others injured. PM Modi also conducted an aerial survey of the Air Base.Meanwhile, security forces have declared that the airbase has been fully cleared after a massive combing operation by the Army, National Security Guard and IAF's Guard Commandos which spanned over three days.
