Urban schemes spending at 51% of BE, ministry cites lack of claims from states, govt guidelines

The Standing Committee on Housing and Urban Affairs recommended that the Ministry should consult stakeholders and finalise schemes before the Budget announcements to ‘avoid allocation and parking of funds for such Schemes wherein approvals would spill to subsequent financial years.’
