Aviation watchdog DGCA flags lapses at Akasa Air; airline says it submits comprehensive responses

The observations have been made by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) after a comprehensive review of surveillance data of the airline for the April-September period.

The DGCA is mandated by MoCA to keep a watch on airfares, especially during the festival season, and take appropriate measures in case of a surge in prices.
