ABOUT Emraan Hashmi

Born on March 23, 1979, Emraan Hashmi is an Indian actor who debuted with 2003 Footpath. The film, which was directed by Vikram Bhatt, didn't give any fame to the actor but in 2004, he created buzz about him for his bold scenes in Murder- an adult crime thriller. Since 2004, he has been famously known as Bollywood's kisser. His performance in 2004 release Gangster and 2008 release Jannat got him a lot of appreciation from audience and critics. Though the actor has a few hits to his credit, his film's songs have done extremely well and are blockbusters. Before getting into films, like a lot of other actors, Hashmi assisted his relative and Bollywood's ace director Mahesh Bhatt as a director. Hashmi has done a lot of films over the years and his political thriller Shanghai (2012) garnered him two Best Supporting Actor nominations at the Filmfare Awards.
