Huma Qureshi: A Steadily Rising Star in Bollywood and Beyond Huma Qureshi, a prominent figure in Hindi-language cinema, has steadily built a diverse and critically acclaimed filmography. Her journey began after studying history in Delhi, where she honed her skills as a theatre actor and model. A stint with Hindustan Unilever in television commercials led to a pivotal encounter with Anurag Kashyap, who subsequently launched her film career with a supporting role in the acclaimed Gangs of Wasseypur (2012). This debut garnered her a Filmfare Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress, setting the stage for a prolific career.
