I&B Minister Anurag Thakur said the government respects the freedom of speech, but “strongest action will be taken as per law” against “those who become a threat to the country’s sovereignty and integrity”.

Ujjain, Jan 10 (ANI): Following the furore over former information and broadcasting minister Manish Tewari admitting that the Raisina Hill incident was reported correctly by the Indian Express in 2012, Minister of State for External Affairs VK Singh, the then Army Chief General, dismissed the Congress leader’s statement saying ‘he has no work these days’. Singh further said that Tewari should utilize his time reading the former’s book which would clear the state of things regarding the troop movement.
