He began his career with Ekta Kapoor's popular daily soap, Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki in 2000 and now with Yeh Hai Mohabbatein he has become a household name. Karan made his debut as a lead actor in Star Plus's popular series Kasturi where he played the role of Robbie Sabharwal. Most of his projects have been produced by Balaji Telefilms.
