Manikrao Govindrao Thakare, a former Congress leader in Maharashtra, is currently the AICC Incharge for Goa Pradesh Congress Committee & Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu.
Before this, Thakare was appointed AICC in Telangana affairs on January 4, 2023.
Additionally, he has served as a member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly from 1985 until 2004, and president of the Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) from 2008 until 2015. T
hakare has held various ministerial roles, including Minister of State for Home Affairs twice and Minister of State for Energy from 2003 to 2004.
