ABOUT Nayanthara

Nayanthara is a leading female actor, mainly know for her films in the south of India. She has appeared in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada films and in 2015 she was considered as a top paid female actor in the south Indian film industry. Nayanthara made her acting debut with Malayalam film Manassinakkare in 2003. However, she became a household name with the roles she essayed in her Tamil films. Her first Tamil film Ayya, came out in 2004. The same year her her second film Chandramukhi was also released in which she shared the screen with superstar Rajinikanth. Following that she went on to star in several super hit films, including, Vallavan (2006), Billa (2007), Sri Rama Rajyam (2011) among others. After almost a year break, she returned to the big screen with 2013 film Raja Rani, which became a box office hit. And since then she had given several super hit movies. besides her screen roles, Nayanthara is also known for her fitness. She is also dubbed as the 'Lady Superstar' by the industry insiders as she enjoys a significant fan following down south.
