Nityanad Rai is a political leader from Bihar and a member of the Bhartiya Janata Party. He is the incumbent Member of Parliament from Bihar’s Ujiarpur Lok Sabha constituency. He was born on January 1, 1966, in Hajipur, Bihar, to his parents, Tetari Devi and Ganga Bishun Rai. He has been actively involved in politics since his early days, which is reflected in his rise through the ranks of the BJP.
Before ascending to national politics, he made his mark in state politics. He served as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) in Bihar, showcasing his leadership skills and dedication to public service. In 2014, His political career took a significant turn when he was elected as a Member of Parliament (MP) to the Lok Sabha, India's lower house of Parliament, from the Ujiarpur constituency in Bihar. He successfully retained his seat in the 2019 general elections, further solidifying his position in Bihar's political landscape.
