Petrol price
Petrol is a light fuel oil that is obtained by distilling crude petroleum and used as a fuel for vehicles running on internal combustion engines. Ever since its discovery, petrol, or Gasoline, plays a very important role in running the day to day economy of a country. The fuel has seen high demand in recent years.
The growing needs of the fuel have made humans explore various ways through which the fuel can be obtained from the natural environment for consumption.
There are basically two primary international crude oil benchmarks, Brent, or European benchmark and West Texas Intermediate (WTI), or American benchmark.
In India, petrol prices have been revised daily at 06:00 AM since June 2017. This method is called the dynamic Petrol price method.
To check the petrol price in your city, visit the website of oil marketing companies (OMCs) or send an SMS. If you are an Indian Oil customer, then you can send an SMS along with the city code to number 9224992249. For BPCL customers, send SMS to number 9223112222 by mentioning RSP. HPCL can write HP Price and send it to 9222201122.
