Puneet Issar: A Versatile Career Spanning Films and Television Puneet Issar, born November 6, 1959, is a prominent figure in Indian cinema and television, excelling as an actor, writer, director, producer, and dialect coach. His career trajectory showcases remarkable versatility across Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam films. Issar's acting debut as a villain in Manmohan Desai's Coolie (1983) was followed by a breakthrough role as Duryodhana in B.R. Chopra's iconic television series Mahabharat (1988-1990).
