Randeep said both Irani and her Cabinet colleague Bandaru Dattatreya should be sacked immediately for allegedly putting pressure on the university to suspend five Dalit students, including Rohith Vemula who committed suicide.He added that this shows that BJP and its government can go to any extent to support their people.

New Delhi, Jan 13 (ANI): Congress leader Randeep Surjewala on Wednesday said that the attack on Indian Consulate Mazar-E-Sharif in Pakistan was condemnable. He said it was a matter of grave concern for the Indian Government and questioned the functioning of the intelligence. He stated that as per information the attack had been carried out by the Pakistan military. Meanwhile, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Nalin Kohli said that it was a matter of concern which required being resolved at the earliest. He said the government would take cognizance of the information and take action accordingly.
