Bassi over the ongoing JNU controversy, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Somnath Bharti on Friday alleged it seems that the Delhi Police Commissioner is loyal to the 'Khaki' pants worn by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) workers. He said the Delhi Police is taking haphazard action. When Bassi talks about the 'khaki', it is not clear whether he is talking about the policemen, who wear the 'khaki' uniform or the 'Khaki' pants which the RSS workers wear.

Kolkata, Feb 17 (ANI): Students of Jadavpur University in West Bengal took to streets expressing solidarity with the students of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) demanding release of student leader booked on sedition charges. JNU Students’ Union President Kanhaiya Kumar was arrested last week on sedition charges after a group of youngsters organised an event in protest of the execution of 2001 parliament attack convict Mohammad Afzal Guru. Jadavpur University students shouted slogans against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Students and academics of the JNU continue to boycott classes to protest against government.
