Trivandrum, Jan 25 (ANI): Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy on Monday appeared before a judicial commission probing the 7-crore solar scam that has engulfed his Congress-led UDF government, over his alleged links to the accused in the massive cheating scandal. The scam relates to an alleged con job by a pair of entrepreneurs Saritha Nair and Biju Radhakrishnan, who promised to install solar power panels. The Chief Minister, a witness in the case, had already given a written statement to the commission and agreed to appear before it personally, when asked to do so. The commission, that has its office in Kochi, will come to Thiruvananthapuram and record Chandy's statement. Chandy has maintained all along that he has done no wrong and is prepared to face any probe.
