Shahrukh Khan: A Bollywood Reign Shahrukh Khan, or SRK, a dominant figure in Hindi cinema, enjoys widespread recognition as the "Baadshah of Bollywood" and "King Khan." His career, spanning over three decades, boasts over 100 films and numerous accolades, including 14 Filmfare Awards and the Padma Shri. He has garnered significant global acclaim, particularly in Asia and among the Indian diaspora. Khan's early career saw him play villainous roles in Baazigar (1993) and Darr (1993), before transitioning to romantic leads in blockbuster hits like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995), Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham... (2001). His versatility shone through in critically acclaimed performances as an alcoholic in Devdas (2002), a NASA scientist in Swades (2004), and a hockey coach in Chak De! India (2007). The success continued with Om Shanti Om (2007) and Chennai Express (2013).
