The Sessions Court, on July 19, 2022, while upholding the conviction order of the Ansals and two others, reduced the duration to the period they had already been jailed since November 8, 2021. Gopal Ansal had filed a plea before HC seeking that the conviction and sentence for tampering with evidence be set aside.
