Yusuf Pathan, a renowned cricketer, has embarked on a new journey in his life by entering politics. Known for his cricketing prowess, Yusuf showcased his talent from a young age, earning a spot in Baroda’s Under-16 team in 1999-20002. He made his Ranji Trophy debut in the 2001-02 season, playing for Saurashtra. His cricketing journey is marked by several notable achievements, including a crucial knock in the T20 World Cup 2007 final against Pakistan, contributing to India’s historic win.

Pathan’s international career, marked by consistent performances, ended in 2012 after a stellar performance against New Zealand. In the Indian Premier League (IPL), he played a key role in the triumphs of Kolkata Knight Riders in 2012 and 2014, and Rajasthan Royals in the inaugural season of 2008.
