Gandhindagar MP and senior BJP leader L K Advani arrived here on Monday afternoon and inaugurated an old-age home at Adalaj on the outskirts of the city in the evening after which he left for Gandhinagar to attend a meeting of the Somnath Trust.
Praising Chief Minister Narendra Modi,Advani said at Adalaj that so far in Gujarats history,only two other leaders,besides Modi,had made it to the cover page of Time magazine. He said that before Modi,only Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Patel had made it to the Time cover page.

Later in the evening,he attended a meeting of the Somnath Temple Trust in Gandhinagar where Chief Minister Narendra Modi and former chief minister Keshubhai Patel were also present.
