Babloo sent to nine-day police custody

Babloo has been accused in the firing incident on Surat real estate broker Amjad Dalal at Adajan Patia area a couple of weeks ago. Police sources said that he had directed his aide Montu to kill alleged hawala operator Afroz Fatta, but due to the mistaken identity, the hired sharp shooter fired at one round on Dalal.

The Surat police produced Babloo before Judicial Magistrate first class court on Saturday afternoon. Babloo was brought under strict police security arrangements.

Seeking his remand, the police told the court that Babloo was using two SIM cards in the Bareilly jail, and he had also made international calls. He also had relations with the underworld don Chhota Rajan. Police wanted to know that who had given contract to kill Fatta.
After going through the arguments the court granted the nine-day remand.
