Chief Minister Narendra Modi will perhaps be the first Indian political figure to have a dress-up game of his own. Developed by an Ahmedabad-based video game developing company Zatun a free Android game gives a chance to players glued to the Internet to become Modis personal stylist and dress up the leader in over 700 different ways.
Dress up games is fairly popular, especially among youngsters and they all love to dress up film stars, sports persons and celebrities. It is for the first time that we are giving them a chance to dress up a national leader, said Abhinav Chokhavatia, the founder-CEO of Zatun,a game development studio that develops games for all platforms, including smartphones,tablets,desktops,hand-helds and consoles, with a host of firms that includes Disney,Ubisoft and Leap Frog.
We wanted to have a dress-up game with Narendra Modi,as the main character and give the players a chance to style him as per their wish. We researched different pictures of Narendra Modi in various poses and attires. We selected the ones that suited the most and gave the game a stylised caricature style, instead of a realistic style to make it more fun and appealing, he added.
One can juggle around with Modis kurta, sunglasses, shawls,Armani shoes and his head-gear that includes traditional pagadis and hats. The backgrounds behind Modi in the game can also be changed and he can be dressed up as a development icon,an emerging leader,a fiery orator and even as Indias future PM.
We,however,do have an option to dress Modi as a chaiwala,an option for which users would need to make a lot of changes, quips Chokhavatia,a graduate from Vancover Film School, who has more than 10-plus years of experience in video gaming and 3D industry.
This Modi dress-up game is compatible with all major android phones. The game has already seen 500 downloads in just a week after it was launched. Looking at the way the game has picked up,we may introduce a few changes in the near future, he said.
The final look that any player comes up with can also be shared on Facebook and Twitter. One can even save the picture on the phone or use the image as the phones wallpaper, he added.
