A 45-year-old man was set ablaze by some unidentified men at Palanpur town in Banaskantha district on Saturday allegedly for not paying gambling debts. The victim,identified as Zakir Anwar Pathan, has been admitted to Mehsana Civil Hospital with 80 per cent burns. Police have registered a case of attempt to murder against unidentified men and begun probe.
