Ahmedabad:Mild tremors measuring 3.2 on the Richter scale were felt this morning in Kutch district. No loss of life or damage to property was reported,officials said here. The earthquake had its epicentre at 34 km northwest of Khavada village in Kutch,officials at the Institute of Seismological Research (ISR) said. Aftershocks measuring 2.3 on the Richter scale were felt in the afternoon around 3 pm,they said,adding that the aftershocks had the epicentre at 30 km northwest of Dudhai village in Kutch.

2 killed,18 hurt as bus overturns

Banaskantha:Two persons were killed and 18 others injured when a luxury bus overturned near here on Sunday,police said. The incident took place at Trishuliya ghat,around 13 km from the temple town of Ambaji,when a group of around 35 people,who were on a pilgrimage tour,were heading towards Anjaar in Kutch district from Ambaji,they said. The injured have been admitted to local hospitals,they said.
