MoU signed for Bharuch vehicle unit

Mumbai-based Jordyne Auto Ltd has signed an MoU with the state government to set up a Rs 1200 crore two-wheeler unit at Vasna village in Amod taluka of Bharuch district.

Mumbai-based Jordyne Auto Ltd has signed an MoU with the state government to set up a Rs 1200 crore two-wheeler unit at Vasna village in Amod taluka of Bharuch district. Two top officials of Jordyne said here today that they intended to make the project operational from October.

The officials said the company will start importing spare parts by March from two-wheeler manufacturers in Germany and Italy with whom they have a tie-up. The company hopes to employ up to 3,000 workers when the plant is fully operational.
