Rajkot DEO orders probe into English answersheets confusion

The Rajkot district education officer (DEO) ordered an inquiry after reports that Class XII science English medium answersheets were being allegedly checked by the Gujarati medium teachers.

The incident was reported from Masoom Vidhyalay in Rajkot city where Gujarati medium teachers were allegedly found checking answersheets of English medium students.

According to reports,nearly 200 answersheets had already been checked as DEO J K Vishiya ordered school authorities to find whose fault it was.

The incident came to light when some of the teachers reportedly passed the information to National Students Union Of India (NSUI). The NSUI on Thursday conducted a raid on the school premises. During preliminary interrogation,the DEO found that the NSUI’s claim was right and ordered an inquiry in this connection.
