Sanjay Joshi makes a brief trip to state to share ‘grief’

Former BJP national executive member Sanjay Joshi visited the state on Monday and met BJP workers in Narmada,Bharuch and Vadodara districts.

Former BJP national executive member Sanjay Joshi visited the state on Monday and met BJP workers in Narmada,Bharuch and Vadodara districts. He took a train for New Delhi in the night.

He said it was a “personal” trip. “I visited BJP MP from Bharuch Mansukh Vasava’s village to attend the ritual of 13th day of death of his mother. Then,I visited former BJP district president and chairman of Narmada Sugar Factory and Dudhsagar Dairy Ghanshyam Patel to express condolences over a death in his family,” Joshi told mediapersons in Vadodara.

“I have come to Vadodara to meet BJP leader Jitendra Rai as I could not meet him earlier after his knee operation. I will go to former Kheda district president Chunnibhai Baraiya’s house to express condolences on the demise of his wife,” he added.

Joshi met several other BJP party workers in these districts. He also visited Tilakwada and met party workers and stopped to pray at Garudeshwar temple. Joshi’s visit to the tribal region assumes importance as he visited the place for the first time after 1996.
