The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) announced Tuesday that the results for the ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) board exams will be declared at 11 am Wednesday. The announcement was made by Dr Joseph Emmanuel, Chief Executive & Secretary, CISCE, in a letter Tuesday addressed to all heads of schools affiliated with the Council. Students and stakeholders can access the results through multiple platforms, including CISCE’s official website and the DigiLocker portal. To view results online, candidates need to enter their Unique ID, Index Number, and CAPTCHA on the CISCE website, while DigiLocker requires additional details such as the date of birth as per the admission card. Schools can also access the Tabulation Register via the CAREERS Portal using the principal’s login credentials. For those seeking further assistance, CISCE has set up a helpdesk at helpdesk@cisce.org or a toll-free number, 1800-203-2414. The council has expressed gratitude to schools for their support in successfully conducting the examinations. Recheck and re-evaluation options CISCE has also outlined procedures for candidates dissatisfied with their results. The recheck process, available from April 30 to May 4, carries a fee of ₹1,000 per paper for ICSE and per subject for ISC. Recheck results will be declared within four weeks, and will be accessible on both the CISCE website and the CAREERS Portal. Candidates unhappy with recheck outcomes can apply for re-evaluation, with a fee of ₹1,500 per paper or subject, which is non-refundable. The re-evaluation window will open for three days following the recheck results announcement, with outcomes released within three weeks. Opportunity for improvement For students aiming to further enhance their scores, CISCE will conduct improvement examinations in July, limited to a maximum of two subjects. Further details will be uploaded to the CISCE website soon. Emmanuel extended his best wishes to all candidates and schools, marking the culmination of another academic year. As students across India await their results, the council’s multi-platform access and grievance redressal mechanisms are expected to streamline the process for millions of students.
