Four people,including two children,suffered injuries,after they were hit by a car near the Sector 38 bus stop on Friday. 30-year-old Seema,her son Nikhil (5) and Veena,30,and her son Arman (3) were returning from a visit to the temple in the afternoon,at around 3.30 pm,when the incident occurred. Seema and Veena were walking back with their sons from the bus stand of sector 25,where they had got off a bus and were crossing the road towards sector 38. They were trying to cross the road through the grill in the divider and a Maruti car was approaching in their direction. Somehow,they misjudged the speed and the car hit them as it was coming at a very high speed, said Satinder Kumar,Investigating Officer.
The Maruti car, was driven by Paras Parshad,resident of Kajheri village,who has been arrested. The four were taken to Government Hospital sector 16 where an X-ray examination revealed that Seema had suffered a fracture. The others suffered bodily injuries.
