Sunday evening at JW Marriott Chandigarh saw a melange of music,fashion and food as actor Gul Panag hosted a get-together in association with designer Mandira Wirk and Chivas Studio Spotlight.

With the weather taking a pleasant turn,the hotel made full use of its lawns that saw guests including politician Shashi Tharoor and his wife Sunanda Pushkar,singers Harbhajan Mann and Jasbir Jassi,restaurateur Mohan Bir Singh and architect wife Bandana,hoteliers Man Mohan Singh Kohli and Jaskirat Singh mingle with Panag and select invitees. The first performance of the evening was by spunky singer Alisha Batth. The final act for the evening

was by Eka,a Delhi-based band,comprising Benjamine ‘Benny’ Pinto on keyboards,Hitesh ‘Rikki’ Madan on guitars and vocals and Lokesh Madan on vocals and bass. Adding the fashion element to the night was Wirk who had put up installations of her recent collection The Veil Unveiled. The collection was characterised by opulence and romanticism put forth in gowns and dresses. The evening closed with a dinner buffet comprising cuisines ranging from Thai,Korean,Kashmiri et al.
