GNDU cancels affiliation of four BEd colleges

The Guru Nanak Dev University Syndicate in its meeting on Tuesday cancelled the affiliation of four BEd colleges in Punjab for violating the university norms.

The Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) Syndicate in its meeting on Tuesday cancelled the affiliation of four BEd colleges in Punjab for violating the university norms. The varsity also announced to allow candidates with compartment in Class XII,to get admissions in various courses for the current academic session with a rider to pass the compartment by December 2010. The meeting was chaired by Vice-Chancellor Prof A S Brar. The colleges whose affiliation has been cancelled are Baba Banda Singh Bahadur College of Education,Dhariwal,Aman Bhalla College of Education,Pathankot for not appointing regular principals,Lilly Swords Methodist College of Education,Batala for not appointing teaching staff and S S College of Education,Dinanagar for charging excessive fees from students.
