23889. For someone who is not in the high echelons of super stardom,this is one brain boggling number of followers err ‘tweeple’,and actor Gul Panag’s busy tweeting them. Out goes the texting,random bubbles of thoughts and lenghty conversations on the blog,Gul finds brevity and soul of the wit in the 140 characters of Twitter and is lovin’ it. “I use it as a mouthpiece for I feel we should all have a medium to expression,” dimples the actor. While the world is following her,quiz her who is she after and she shoots,“Apart from me? 90 odd people: Time Magazine,BBC,CNN and yes,Ashton Kutchner.” Log on,and there’s no sign of Bollywood on this gal’s tweets. It’s politics,fitness,bit of crackjacks and friendly interventions,which makes it all the more interesting and refreshing. And authentic too! “Yeah…there are a lot of imposters out there,and we should be really careful and crosscheck about our accounts,” cautions Gul. Twitter has its camps and clubs,is Gul part of any,like Karan Johar’s one? “No,not at all. I like to keep it democratic!” While her previous films didn’t fare that well,Gul has her eyes set on Ram Gopal Varma’s Rann in which she plays an assistant to an Ad filmmaker. “Nandita’s living-in with her boyfriend Purab and she is smart,educated,and intelligent,” says Gul. Next in the pipeline is a Friends Forever kinda film titled Fatso,an untitled one with Prakash Jha and Hello Darling. “Hello is a contemporary comedy,a story of three working girls and their playboy of a boss Jaaved Jaffery. It’s basically a battle of the sexes and is directed by Manoj Tiwari.”
