Lalit Narain wins bronze in Asian Sambo
Lalit Narain won bronze medal in the recently concluded Asian Sambo (Self Defence Marshal Art Wrestling) Championship held in Tashkent (Uzbekistan).Hailing from Mohindergarh (Haryana),LalitNarain claimed the bronze medal in the 90 kg section.Narain had been represting the country since 1994 in various Asian and World Championships and earlier he also won the bronze medal in the Asian Sambo Championship and in the World Championship in 2007.

Tug-of-War championship begins
The 23rd Senior National Tug-of-War (men) Championship being organised by Tug-of-War Association of Punjab and Punjabi University began at Sports Complex,Punjabi University,Patiala on Saturday. More than 21 states

from all over country are taking part in the championship.

Wrestling trials today
The Chandigarh Wrestling Association will hold trials on June 13 at 11 am at Wrestling Coaching Centre,Sector 30,to choose its team for the Sub-Junior National Wrestling Championship to be held in Nainital from June 25 to 28.
