Bathinda MP Harsimrat Badal on Saturday said Chandigarh “is an integral part of Punjab and it will remain so”. Talking to the reporters in Mansa,Harsimrat,wife of Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal,said Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda’s claim over the shared capital of the two states does not have any weight. “Punjab has already given many Punjabi-speaking villages to Haryana and Rajasthan. The ruling SAD-BJP alliance will oppose any claim over Chandigarh,” she addded.
