Stressing upon the arrest of two more family members of the 32-year-old computer teacher,Monika Goyal,Amit Jindal,her brother has on Sunday filed a complaint against a relative of Monikas in-laws,Subash,at the Police Station Sector 19 claiming that he tried to run him over.
In response,Subash has filed a complaint against Amit,saying that he tried to assault him near his residence in Sector 19. Amit Jindal went to the Sector 19 police station claiming that he had traced the two people,Varun (Monikas brother in law) and Shallika (Varuns wife) at their uncle Subhashs residence in Sector 19.
I came to know that Shallika and Varun were hiding at their uncles place in Sector 19. Immediately,I gave a call to the Station House Officer (SHO) of the Sector 19 police station,Harjit Kaur informing him of the same. Somehow,the two came to know about our intentions and they tried to flee in a car driven by their uncle, Amit said.
He added,I was outside the residence of Shallikas uncle waiting for the police. I tried to stop them. Subhash was driving the car and he did not pull the breaks when I tried to stop them. I immediately gave a written complaint in the Sector 19 police station about the same.
Subash,Shallikas uncle has filed a complaint against Amit saying that Amit tried to assault him outside his house.
Both complaints are being verified by the police,according to the police officials of the Sector 19 police station. The police officers are now saying that they are not able to find any evidence of murder.
