Almost two months after interacting with various IT companies,the Panchkula Municipal Corporation (MC) is yet to develop its website.
The MC had received expression of interest from nearly a dozen companies and they were called in first week of January for a presentation,but so far the civic body has failed to come up with its website a project that has been pending for over a year.
Though we had called the companies for an interaction,but we did not shortlist any of them. Instead,a company engaged by the various state government departments for developing a website has been hired, Executive Officer,Panchkula MC,O P Sihag said. We are already in touch with the agency and we have told them our requirement and shorty we should have our own website . The website will help both residents and the officials equally.
