NSG commandos to oversee security at AP Dhillon’s Sector 25 concert

The highly anticipated AP Dhillon concert, scheduled for December 21 at the Rally Ground in Sector 25, Chandigarh, will have NSG commandos among over 1,000 security personnel deployed to manage the event. With an expected footfall of over 20,000, the organisers, White Fox, have collaborated with the Chandigarh Administration to ensure robust security and logistical arrangements.

A highlight of the event will be India’s first 360-degree stage, designed by Dubai-based Studio Majime, aimed at enhancing audience engagement. The concert, part of AP Dhillon’s The Brownprint World Tour, marks his return to India after a long gap.

Over 200 trucks and 300 personnel have been deployed to set up the infrastructure, with organisers assuring measures to minimise inconvenience to residents. Tickets for the concert, priced between ₹3,000 and ₹6,500, remain valid for the venue, with further updates on parking and transportation expected soon. Speculation about a surprise celebrity guest appearance continues to build excitement among fans. Dhillon had got Mallika Arora to come up to the stage with him for the concert in Mumbai while he crooned “Peale pyaar di Pelli kahani” . Yo Yo Honey Singh and Jazzy B had joined him on the stage in Delhi where he thanked them for making Punjabi music famous and said, “Punjabis were always here.”
