Sacred Heart School will lock horns with LIC Cricket Academy,Sector 26,team. Batting first,Sacred Heart School,scored 101 runs for the loss of four wickets in 20 overs. Janvi topscored with knock of 27 runs to propel her side. In reply,Dev Samaj School could not handle Sacred Heart bowlers pace and accuracy. Nandini (3 for 11),Mansvani (3 for 26) and Shruti (3 for 2) were the chief wreckers. They were bowled out for 60 runs in 12 overs.

Tennis tourney from May 25

CHANDIGARH: The Total Tennis Academy will organise the Mount Carmel Total Tennis Championship from May 25 to 27 at the Mount Carmel School Courts in Sector 47. The tournament would be played in the following categories- U-10,U-12,U-14 and U-18 for both boys and girls. Interested players can send their entries to Rakesh Hooda at 9781707026. Golf camp from May 28

CHANDIGARH: Chandigarh Golf Association Golf range will conduct a golf summer camp from May 28 to June 6. The camp,which will be held at CGA Range,will be for the junior golfers and the players will be taught set up,golf swing and chipping and putting during the camp. Competitions for chipping and putting will also be held during the camp. The camp will be held in the morning from 9.00 am to 10.30 am and coach Mukesh Kumar will conduct the camp. He will be assisted by Akshay and Vivek Gupta.

Open speed skating carnival

PANCHKULA: Manav Mangal School,Sector 11,Panchkula,will conduct Manav Mangal Open Speed Skating Carnival- 2012 on May 26 and 27. Interested skaters from the Tricity for the age groups (Under-4 years to Above-16 years) can participate in various levels of Rink Races and Road Races during the carnival.
