Still free: 3 accused in week-old case

A week after a 19-year-old Komal Kohli was allegedly attacked by three youths Lakhbir,Khushwinder and Karan,all in their 20s,in Sector 42,the UT police are yet to arrest the accused. Police sources said that Lakhbir filed an anticipatory bail plea in a local Court on Tuesday which will be heard on Friday.

The victim’s father Harish Kohli said,“Despite having identified the accused,the police have not been able to make any headway. I would urge the senior officers to look into the matter pertaining to my daughter so that the accused are put behind the bars.”
