World-Renowned astrologer Bejan Daruwalla,who has been associated with India’s largest astrological webportal,‘GaneshaSpeaks’ since its inception in 2003 has anointed it as the successors to his astrological legacy. “I want to leave this knowledge behind for the betterment of mankind and hence I have taught them everything that I have learnt. They will keep my art and name alive in the times to come,” says Bejan.

‘GaneshaSpeaks’ was launched in 2003 with a vision of providing users a fully personalised horoscope reading by Bejan and is the top astrology portal of India vying for the top position globally with more than 2 million page views per month. Hemang Arun Pandeet,MD & CEO,Ganeshaspeaks says,“We aim to be the number one astro portal globally in the next five years and plans are afoot for a massive ramp-up. We plan to hire 500 more astrologers to staff our existing call centres.”

“With a turnover of 100 million (INR),today ‘GaneshaSpeaks’ represents 40 per cent of the 65 million web based astro business which has about 4-5 players and approximately 30 per cent of the 75 million telecom based astro business which again has about 4-5 players. This is just a tip of the iceberg as far as the entire astro business is concerned. The total size of the astro market is estimated at 8 billion USD,” Pandeet added.

Today an INR 100 million company,‘GaneshaSpeaks’ handles more than half a million visits on a monthly basis while the call centers combined with the help of 300 astrologers handle more than 30000 telephonic consultations daily. With mundane,they also predict cricket,football,tennis,Nifty and Sensex with more than 80 per cent accuracy!
