Teenager arrested for raping minor

A 17-year-old boy has been arrested and sent to juvenile home for allegedly raping a minor girl in Dadumajra colony on Monday.

The mother of the victim told the police that the accused,their neighbour,had abducted the girl on Sunday and raped her at his friend’s house. “The boy threatened my daughter with dire consequences and raped her,” her complaint read.

Sources said that the two were in a relationship and the victim went with the boy on her own will. The victim,however,said on Monday that she was abducted and raped.

The Station House Officer of Sector 39 police station said they have registered a case against the boy. Sources said the medical examination of the girl confirmed rape.
