Hollywood couple Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher have started an initiative to curb sex trafficking. Their organisation,Demi and Ashton Foundation,has launched the campaign ‘Real Men Don’t Buy Girls’ to educate people about the flesh trade. Other Hollywood heavyweights like Justin Timberlake,Bradley Cooper and Sean Penn have also lent their weight. “While it’s much more comfortable for us to think that this exists in other countries,the reality is that we have to wake up to what’s happening in our own backyard,” said Moore at the Clinton Global Initiative Annual Meeting in New York City. The couple has also formed an anti-trafficking tech task force using Twitter,Microsoft,Google and Facebook as well as law enforcement and government officials and the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children
