Bollywood stars are finally beginning to realise the hardships of working on television. Preity Zinta shot for her very first episode of Guinness World Records -Ab India Todega and was in for a surprise when the shoot turned out to be tougher than expected. Post her shoot,she tweeted saying,“Just finished shooting for one of the episodes of Guinness World Records . Hats off to Amitji,Salman,Shah Rukh,Akshay and Priyanka Chopra for rocking TV as it’s so tiring.” Good luck,Preity.

Simon Cowell to judge India?

After Kaun Banega Crorepati and Bigg Boss resurrected Sony’s hopes in the TV arena,they are going all out with their next,a reality show called The X Factor. The buzz is that attempts are being made to get Simon Cowell on board as one of the judges in the Indian version. An insider tells us that the music-based reality show,which is ready to go on floors in the coming months,is keen to have the internationally renowned name,at least as a celebrity judge for the finale episodes. “The channel has already acquired the rights of the desi version of the singing contest from Simon,whose production company owns the format. They now want him to be part of the programme,” says the insider. Simon has judged television shows like Pop Idol,Britain’s Got Talent,American Idol and The X Factor . Apparently,a team from Sony has left for the UK to convince him to be a judge.
