Transfer of trial in Arushi case: SC order today

New Delhi: The Supreme Court will pass its order on Friday regarding Rajesh and Nupur Talwar’s plea for shifting of trial against them from Ghaziabad to Delhi. The Talwars are being tried in the murder cases of their daughter daughter Arushi and domestic help Hemraj. The judgment will be delivered by a bench of Justices B S Chauhan and J S Khehar.

Provide prosthetic limbs to blast victims in three weeks: HC to AIIMS

New Delhi: The Delhi High Court on Thursday directed AIIMS to provide prosthetic limbs to four persons injured in the September 7 blast near the court premises within three weeks. A division bench directed four victims to appear before the Physical Medicine Rehabilitation Department of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Friday for the treatment. The court order came after counsel for AIIMS told the bench that the victims were called by the hospital on February 17,but none of them turned up.

Delhi University’s first cultural festival begins today,CM to inaugurate

New Delhi: Delhi University’s first cultural fest,‘Antardhwani’,will be inaugurated on Friday at 10 am by Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit at the University Stadium. Dikshit will also open the University’s annual flower show. The fest will be held from March 2 to March 5 and will feature different cultural programmes and competitions along with a food festival.
