The Lt Governor directed the top officials to focus their efforts on eradicating breeding spots for mosquitoes.

Meanwhile, three more suspected dengue deaths were reported in the capital. Shivam Dubey (14) from West Delhi and Ram Babu (24) from East Delhi died at the Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital and the Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital respectively, authorities said on Tuesday.

Medical reports of a 34-year-old woman from Kalyanpuri, who died at the Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital last week, have confirmed that she succumbed to dengue. However, municipal corporations are yet to confirm that these deaths were due to the disease.
