The Festival Special Housing Scheme of the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) will open for registrations from November 24. The DDA housing scheme will cover more than 32,000 newly constructed flats across various categories and locations such as Dwarka, Lok Nayak Puram, and Narela.
Among the remarkable features of the scheme is the inclusion of over 1,100 luxury flats, including penthouses, super High-Income Group (HIG) residences, and regular HIG flats in Dwarka 19B, providing a scenic view of the upcoming DDA golf course. The luxury flats will be available exclusively through the e-auction mode.
One significant aspect of this housing scheme is that it will allow individuals to instantly book a flat of their choice in their preferred locality and floor by paying the booking amount. Importantly, there is no requirement for applicants to own any plot or house in Delhi, facilitating the ownership of multiple houses within an extended family.
Additionally, MIG flats in Sector 14, Dwarka and Lok Nayak Puram will also be offered through the e-auction mode.
Meanwhile, a substantial number of flats, comprising 728 Economically Weaker Section (EWS) flats in Sector 19B, Dwarka, 316 LIG and 1,008 EWS flats in Sector 14, Dwarka, 224 EWS flats in Lok Nayak Puram, and over 28,000 flats at Narela across various categories, will be available through the FCFS mode, with the Narela flats being released in different phases.
The pricing of the flats varies across categories, with EWS flats starting from Rs 11.5 lakh, LIG flats from Rs 23 lakh, MIG flats from Rs 1 crore, HIG flats from Rs 1.4 crore, Super HIG flats from Rs 2.5 crore, and penthouses from Rs 5 crore onwards.
People looking to buy flats have two options for acquisition: e-Auction and First Come First Serve (FCFS) basis. To enhance accessibility and streamline the process, the application, allotment, and possession process will be conducted online through the DDA website.
