She has put away her cricket bat but Anjum Chopra, former captain of the Indian women’s cricket team,is still good to play. This time, she is padding up for Fear Factor-Khatron ke Khiladi Season 4,which will be aired on Colors in May. “It is not about scoring heavily. It is about how you win the game,or perform consistently. Success is all about achievement in sports,” she says,as she gears up to pit wits with host Akshay Kumar. “Akshay is a great actor. He is somebody I admire as he did not have any backing in the industry and rose to the top on his own merit.” The series is known for its dangerous stunts which get tougher with every level. In one episode, contestants were locked up in a glass coffin with snakes. Among the other contestants this year are Poonam Pandey, the model who wanted to take off her clothes for the Indian cricket team if it won the World Cup,Smita Bansal of Balika Vadhu fame, model Diandra Soares and actress Aarti Chhabria. “I hope to emerge victorious,” says Chopra, currently shooting for the series in South Africa. —
