Sushmita Sen and Raveena Tandon paid fleeting visits to the capital to inaugurate shows
Is this the second coming? No, assured actor Sushmita Sen,in the capital in Oberoi hotel at artist Raghu Vyass show. The daunting biopic,on Rani Laxmi Bai,has been put on the backburner due to recessive times and admittedly, she has been through a low-phase,but she is loathe to admit that she is down and out. I wouldnt be surprised one of these days when I see an article in a newspaper stating that Sushmita makes a comeback, she adds tartly, persisting it would be hard to miss her this year with three releases lined up among them Dulha Mil Gaya and Kamal Hassans Marmyogi where she would also be acting alongside Hassan. But life,of late, has been difficult, says the actor. My father underwent an operation and I couldnt even get time for writing poetry, shared Sen who has also been writing her autobiography. I am still writing it as I am still living my life. Someone asked me what would I name it and I said Butterfly, remarked Sen. Incidentally,Vyas exhibition will move on to the Visual Arts Gallery from January 28.
Meanwhile Raveena Tandon,in the capital on Friday at friend Pallavi Luthra Puris winter carnival at Cloud Cuckoo Farm in Vasant Kunj gave a reality check about her life. I want to do something that suits my age because now I cannot see myself doing any silly stuff. I do not want my kids to feel embarrassed. I have to make them proud and that is why I want to do only select movies, said the National Award winning actress, trussed in a Gucci skirt. The mother of two candidly admitted that Stumped was one film she regrets doing. But one good thing that came out of it was that I met my husband Anil (Thadani) through the film, shared Tandon who has Revathys Just Apke Liye lined up this year.
