Dentist couple Rajesh and Nupur Talwar,facing trial for the murder of their teenaged daughter Aarushi and domestic help Hemraj in May,2008,moved the Supreme Court on Friday. They sought directions to the CBI to place before the trial court narco-analysis and brain mapping test reports of three men,who had initially been made accused in the case. The men were later discharged for want of evidence.
Talwars approached the apex court challenging the order of the trial court and the Allahabad High Court dismissing their plea.
Appearing for the CBI,Additional Solicitor General Sidharth Luthra said the agency will want to file a short affidavit to place certain facts on record before the court takes up the matter,which has been listed for October 7. The bench granted him the permission.
